All due respect, but really....
Come on Council! That's ridiculous, every forum has off topic posts all the time, it's one of the greatest indications that people there enjoy interacting. Remind them to talk about the topic if you want but there's no real point in totally killing their posts.
If anyone at all is interested in the topic, then eventually someone will resume the discussion of their own accord.
Forcing rigid discussion only serves function in forums for incredibly well-known, over productive popstars. With more obscure artists, it's important just to keep the community intact and active. |

I think it´s contra-productive to be too strict.
though users also have to watch themselves
thread shouldn´t go offtopic for to long..
making new threads doesn´t hurt..  |

I kind of had the same feelings, but figured I'd keep my happy little mouth shut.
Being an admin of a forum - I gave up long ago keeping things on topic. I close threads when they get too out of hand or just useless, but hell - thats how conversation works naturally. You start on one subject and progress to a similar, though different topic.
But meh, whatever. Its just the internets.
